Lacoste
Wish Edition

A limited edition of the iconic L.12.12 polo to celebrate the holidays.

The first Wish Edition (2011-2012) of the product was created by Lacoste Brazil, but needed a name and a concept. We helped, and also created the packaging, tags and VM.

Then, for the 2012-2013 edition we added the 4 most used colors at this time of the year to the white polo: yellow, red, green and blue. Each color with its meaning, each color relating to one of the brand's values.  Yellow for optimism; Red for audacity; Green for authenticity; Blue for the elegance. The polos were produced in Peru, where Lacoste has its main Latin factory . It took months of study with the manual tie-dye process until the definition of the most suitable pigment combination to obtain the most faithful gradient to Lacoste’s vivid colors.

This annual collection was created especially for the Brazilian market and has had 3 editions so far, all sold out. The 2012-2013 edition had two print runs, totalling 40.000 polos sold in less than 2 months. In November 2012, Elle magazine highlighted Wish Edition as one of the best initiatives of the brand in Brazil.
